is an editor, poet, and Libra, living and writing in Tkaronto (Toronto), ON. His latest chapbook of poems, notes from the garden, was published by baseline press in 2019, preceded by the peach poems (2019) and a wish (2018).
He holds an MA in contemporary literature from Ryerson University (2018-19) and a BA in literature, philosophy and book & media studies from the University of Toronto (2012-17). In 2018, along with illustrator, storyteller, and zine-maker Cleopatria Peterson, he co-founded Old Growth Press, a small press publishing the visual narratives of BIPOC and/or 2SLGBTQ+ creators.
His academic research focuses on the work of contemporary queer and transgender poets, and his editorial work excels in poetry, prose poetry, essays, and adult fiction and non-fiction. He is interested in working with writing that predominantly features queer and transgender narratives, as well as writing that is poetic in nature, even in a prosaic form.
